Full House Siding Replacement and Repair
Siding is a rainscreen. Its job is to shed water and let anything that gets behind it drain out. Most siding fails not because the siding itself is bad but because whoever installed it forgot everything behind it. EverNorth installs siding as a system, not as a product. We serve Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and Post Falls.
What Is Included
- James Hardie fiber cement, the gold standard for durability
- LP SmartSide engineered wood, primed and painted on site or factory finished
- Vinyl and insulated vinyl for budget friendly projects
- Targeted repairs, storm damage, and full tear off replacements
What Installed Right Actually Means
A proper siding install includes a full house wrap taped at seams, window and door pan flashings, kick out flashings at every roof to wall junction, back primed cut ends on fiber cement, proper fastener depth, and expansion gaps at butt joints. Skip any of those and water gets behind the wall.
When to Repair vs Replace
If the substrate behind the siding is soft in more than one spot, you are usually looking at replacement. You cannot patch siding over rotten sheathing. If it is isolated to a couple of spots (typically near windows or at ground contact), targeted repair is fine and much cheaper.
Common Questions About Siding
